This is a cute little and beautifully kept hotel, perfect rooms. The setting is absolutely perfect and excellant, close enough to Godafoss, an authentic shop for traditional Icelandic jumpers, and Akureyri. The food is superb and appetising.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The clean and comfortable facilities were complemented by a home-like atmosphere. The breakfast was simple yet sufficient, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Additionally, the hotel had great facilities, including a hot pool and a greenhouse. It was in a perfect location away from the crowds to explore the nearby Lake Myvatn region.
Not one thing.

The hosts were amazing and welcoming, making us feel like we were at home. The room was spacious, clean, and had excellent amenities such as a comfortable bed and a convenient sink. The breakfast was delicious and filling, and they were very helpful in providing information about the best sightseeing spots nearby. the location was great, close to all key attractions and in a peaceful and quiet area.
The shower pressure was poor and needed improvement. We also expected to have access to a shared kitchen based on previous reviews, but it turned out that only a microwave and coffee machine were available.

The breakfast buffet was decent and managed to fill us up before going out for the day. the sitting area was comfortable and provided a nice space to relax in. the location was fairly convenient for exploring the surrounding area.
The shared bathroom was a bit small and the shower pressure was pretty weak. the room we stayed in wasn't very soundproof and we could hear other guests talking in the hallway.

We recently stayed at a guesthouse located in a serene area perfect for exploring the beautiful Myvatn region. the accommodation had everything we could need, including clean and spacious rooms, excellent service, and a delicious breakfast. the location was ideal, being both near all the local sights and away from the crowds. We were also able to enjoy stunning views of the surrounding landscapes. Visitors will appreciate the free tea and coffee and the option to borrow equipment for photography.
Although a bit challenging to find, the property was well worth the trouble.
